A man was arrested Sunday after attempting to flee from the scene where an SUV slammed into six parked vehicles in North Hollywood, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched to the 5700 block of North Fulcher Avenue, just north of Burbank Boulevard, at about 4 a.m. Sunday regarding an overturned vehicle, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
The SUV overturned at the scene of the crash and wound up on its roof, while footage from the scene also showed substantial damage to several parked cars.
The alleged SUV driver was eventually arrested. Paramedics rushed the suspect to a hospital and officers “took a misdemeanor DUI report,” Cervantes said.
The motorist’s condition was not immediately clear.
