Flames caused extensive damage to a house under construction and spread to two nearby buildings in Winnetka Monday morning.
The fire was reported at about 1:35 a.m. at 7950 N. Laramie Ave., said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart.
Firefighters found a single family home under construction that was well-involved in flames and extended to two nearby buildings, Stewart said.
“Firefighters fought fire in all three buildings and achieved a knockdown in 46 minutes with no injuries reported,” she said.
One exposed building had fire damage in the attic and the other was damaged on the second floor, Stewart said.
