Officers recovered a handgun after a vehicle crash in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The crash occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Park Circle, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“The suspect, who was later determined to be a prohibited possessor, was arrested,” according to a police statement. “The investigation is ongoing.”
