The identity of a woman who suffered fatal injuries when two sedans collided in an intersection in unincorporated French Valley north of Temecula was made public Monday.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 8:18 p.m. Sunday on Benton Road at Van Gaale Lane. The Riverside County coroner’s office was summoned to the scene at 8:46 p.m., and determined that 53-year-old Murrieta resident Trayce White had died 15 minutes after the collision, according to a report released Monday.
A witness told the CHP a white sedan ran a stop sign and hit a white Toyota Camry. The sedan sustained heavy front-end damage.
