A fire was burning Wednesday in about five acres of brush in steep terrain in the Pacific Palisades area.
Firefighters were sent to the 1400 block of North Palisades Drive at 9:50 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was burning in heavy brush in a hilly area near the reservoir, but there were no winds and a water-dropping helicopter was deployed, the LAFD said. No homes were immediately threatened by the flames.
