Police are attempting to piece together clues surrounding an uncooperative man who was shot Saturday morning in Long Beach, authorities said.
He suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower body near the 1000 block of East Pacific Coast Highway, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Officers dispatched to a hospital at about 1 a.m. Saturday contacted the victim, who refused to cooperate with their investigation, police said. The motive for the shooting and suspect information were unknown.
