A driver who was killed after he crashed his vehicle into a tree in Jurupa Valley was identified Thursday as a Yucaipa resident.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Jurupa Valley Station responded to a major injury traffic collision around 2 a.m. Wednesday on Limonite Avenue, west of Peralta Place.
The driver, 25-year-old Alejandro Corral-Mendoza, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to sheriff’s officials and the coroner.
Limonite Avenue was temporarily closed between Peralta Place and Camino Real to process the scene and collect evidence, Sgt. Ignacio Robles said.
