An Ebony Alert was canceled Saturday after a 14-year-old girl reported missing from Inglewood was located.

Nariah Payne was previously last seen Friday near the intersection of West Century Boulevard and South Freeman Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Inglewood Police Department.

Details about where, when and how she was located were not available.

Ebony Alerts are issued to help find Black children, teenagers and young adults — 12 to 25 years old — who are reported missing under unexplained or suspicious circumstances or those who are at-risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired or who have been abducted.
