One person was hospitalized and three others were in need of assistance after a walkway partially collapsed at a two-story apartment in East Hollywood Wednesday.
The structure collapsed around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at 1319 N. Harvard Blvd., just north of Fountain Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The collapse impacted three units, the department said.
The condition of the hospitalized patient was not immediately clear. Three others were being evaluated.
An LAFD Urban Search and Rescue team was constructing a shoring operation to prevent further collapse. The building’s structural integrity was also being evaluated.
