At least one Alhambra police officer fatally shot a suspect Saturday who was later pronounced dead at a hospital, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at 11:47 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of South Almansor Street, several blocks north of Interstate 10, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which was assisting Alhambra police with the investigation.
Details of the shooting were not immediately available.
No officers were injured, sheriff’s officials said.
