A 57-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a two-vehicle collision in La Verne was identified Tuesday.
The crash occurred at 11:45 a.m. Saturday in the 6700 block of Wheeler Avenue at Sherwood Drive, according to Sgt. D. Harden of the La Verne Police Department.
The La Verne resident was pronounced dead at the scene, Harden said.
He was later identified by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as John Baertich of La Verne.
The driver of the other vehicle, also a La Verne resident, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, Harden said.
