A bomb threat Wednesday prompted a lockdown at a high school in the West Athens neighborhood of Los Angeles County.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to Stella High Charter Academy at 1600 W. Imperial Highway at about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, KTLA5 reported.
Citing the LASD, the station said K-9 units were deployed to search the campus, which is located just north of the Century (105) Freeway and about a mile west of the Harbor (110) Freeway.
