A 58-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a motorcycle in Santa Ana, authorities said Sunday.
The collision happened around 7 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block on North Euclid Street, near Hazard Avenue, in the Riverview West area, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
The man was struck by the southbound motorcyclist while walking eastbound along Euclid Street.
The victim was treated at the scene, but he succumbed to his injuries, according to police. He was identified as Hoang Mai Phan, a resident of Garden Grove. Police said they did not suspect drugs or alcohol to be a factor.
