Two suspects were taken in custody Thursday near downtown Los Angeles on suspicion of stealing a big rig.
California Highway Patrol officers from the CHP’s Santa Fe Springs office reported the theft of a big rig that was being driven on the Pomona (60) Freeway around 3 a.m. The CHP tracked the big rig into downtown Los Angeles, where the suspects abandoned the truck near the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway and Alameda Street and ran away, CHP Officer Megan Curtis told City News Service.
The suspects were caught and taken into custody, Curtis said.
