Police sought the public’s assistance Thursday in identifying a hit-and-run driver who injured a 67-year-old man in North Hollywood.
The pedestrian was struck around 1:30 a.m. Friday at Cahuenga and Burbank boulevards, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Police said the driver of a silver vehicle, possibly an SUV or crossover, was traveling south on Cahuenga when the vehicle hit the man.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital for unspecified injuries. The motorist drove off without stopping.
The city of Los Angeles has a standing $25,000 reward for information leading to motorists involved in injury hit-and-run crashes.
