A man suffered a leg injury while hiking in Studio City Sunday morning, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to Mendips Ridge Road at about 9:40 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The nearest intersection is Mulholland Drive and Laurel Pass Avenue.
The hiker was airlifted from the Mendips Ridge Road location and taken to a hospital, where he was expected to survive.
