Police Monday asked for the public’s help tracking down a gunman who killed a 30-year-old transient in Westminster Sunday.
Police were called about 7:45 p.m. Sunday to the 14000 block of Goldenwest Street, where they found Aaryn Vincent Reyes sustained multiple gunshot wounds, Westminster police Commander Andy Stowers said.
Orange County Fire Authority firefighters tended to Reyes and rushed him to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries, Stowers said.
The suspect in the shooting is a Latino man in his late 20s who is bald and was wearing a white T-shirt and black jeans. He drove away in an older model dark-colored sedan.
Anyone with information helpful to investigators was asked to call police at 714-548-3767. Orange County Crime Stoppers will accept anonymous tips at 855-TIP-OCCS.
