A man was shot and killed in Lancaster Tuesday.
Homicide detectives responded to the 1200 block of West Avenue I, near 13th Street West, regarding a fatal shooting that occurred around 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The victim was taken to a hospital following the shooting and later died.
His name was being withheld pending notification of relatives.
There was no description of a suspect, and the motive for the shooting remained under investigation Tuesday night.
