Crews knocked down a fire in a one-story residence in the Florence neighborhood Wednesday, authorities said.
Smoke was reported around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, emerging from one room of a residence in the 360 block of East 69th Street by Avalon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
In less than 10 minutes, close to three dozen firefighters knocked down the flames, authorities added.
No injuries were reported.
