A woman suffered minor injuries Saturday when she accidentally drove her vehicle into the front of a Jamba Juice store in Pico Rivera.
The crash occurred at 8:10 a.m. Saturday at 8884 Whittier Blvd., near Rosemead Boulevard, Sgt. C. Duncan of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Pico Rivera station told City News Service.
The 53-year-old woman “hit the gas pedal instead of the brake,” Duncan said.
The crash damaged the front pillar and glass of the storefront and damaged the glass of the adjacent Bank of America, he said.
The woman was taken to a hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries but no one else was hurt, Duncan said.
