A 24-year-old woman who was found dead in a North Hollywood shopping complex was identified Tuesday.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s North Hollywood station were called to the NoHo West shopping center at 6150 Laurel Canyon Boulevard at 11:53 p.m. Monday regarding a woman who reportedly jumped from one of the complex’s parking levels, LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman told City News Service.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department were called and attempted to revive the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Jacqueline Murphy of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
