Officers dispatched at about 9 p.m. Saturday to the 500 block of South Crocker Street located a man, about 45 years old, suffering from stab wounds, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The suspect, described as a man about 64 years old, fled on foot and into a nearby apartment building, police said.
