A 19-year-old man was charged Wednesday with videotaping the sexual assault of a 6-year-old boy in Orange.
The Orange Police Department received a tip in about child pornography which led investigators to Anthony Conde, Lt. Phil McMullin said.
A search of Conde’s electronic devices led investigators to the videos of him allegedly performing sexual assaults on the boy, McMullin said.
Conde is accused of assaulting the boy on Dec. 12, 2022, and sharing the obscene matter on July 24, according to court records.
Conde was charged with single counts each of oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 years or younger, lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14, possession of child pornography, sale or distribution of child pornography, and two counts of using a child for obscene matter, all felonies.
