Two men were shot to death and a woman was wounded Saturday in the Manchester Square area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 6:24 p.m. Saturday at Florence and Dalton avenues, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jeff Lee told City News Service.
Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, Lee said. Video from above on NBC4 showed two white canopies in an alley.
The victims were described as men around the age of 20. The wounded woman, about 35, was hospitalized with stable vital signs, according to a desk officer at the LAPD’s Operations Center.
Patrol officers say they saw two suspects fire several rounds into a crowd in an alley, then fled, he said. They sealed off a perimeter and began a search for suspects with a helicopter and officers on the ground.
One suspect was taken into custody and another was barricaded inside a location, the desk officer said. He did not know where and when the arrest occurred or where the suspect was barricaded.
