A two-vehicle collision killed the driver of one vehicle and injured the driver of another near El Dorado Park in East Long Beach, authorities said Monday.
The crash occurred at 2:07 p.m. Sunday on the 2000 block of Studebaker Road between Stearns and Atherton streets, Long Beach Police Department Lt. Brandon Deis told City News Service.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, Deis said. The other driver was taken by ambulance to a hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Studebaker Road in the area was shut down for the initial investigation and then reopened, he said.
