A pedestrian was struck by a motorcycle and killed in Lancaster early Tuesday morning.
The crash happened around midnight at the intersection of Avenue J and Kingtree Avenue, according to Detective Ryan Ament of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lancaster station.
A man riding a Harley Davidson west on Avenue J struck a man crossing Kingtree Avenue outside of a crosswalk, Ament said.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His name was not immediately available.
It was unclear if the motorcycle rider suffered any injury.
The crash remains under investigation, and so far it’s unknown if speed, alcohol or drugs were factors.
