The victim of a suspected drunken driving collision in Huntington Beach was identified by authorities Tuesday as an 85-year-old missing woman.
Caryl Margulies of Huntington Beach was struck by a Toyota RAV4 about 6 p.m. Saturday at Brookhurst Street and Crailet Drive, according to Corbin Carson, a Huntington Beach public affairs officer.
The Toyota’s driver — 62-year-old Gary Archer of Costa Mesa — remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of DUI, Carson said.
Archer was driving north on Brookhurst Street when he struck Margulies south of Crailet Drive, Carson said.
