A naked screaming woman led officers on a brief chase before stopping in West Los Angeles and refusing to get out of the SUV she was driving.
The trouble began around 6:45 a.m. when police got a radio call about a screaming woman, possibly with no clothes on, in the 11000 block of Ovada Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A chase began at 6:52 and ended two minutes later on Sepulveda Boulevard near Montanta Avenue, an LAPD spokesman said.
The SUV was blocked by a number of squad cars and the standoff was ongoing nearly an hour after it began, according to reports from the scene that indicated the suspect was indeed naked.
