Authorities sought the public’s assistance Thursday in locating a 67-year-old woman diagnosed with Alzheimer’s who was last seen in Compton.
Aminta Benitez was last seen at about 8 a.m. Thursday at her residence in the 800 block of Harris Avenue, according to the sheriff’s department.
Benitez was described as a 5-foot-tall woman weighing 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white hat, black pants, a brown jacket, and a pink shirt.
Sheriff’s officials said Benitez’s family is growing increasingly concerned about her well-being due to her medical condition and is seeking the public’s help in finding her.
