Police Tuesday are continuing their investigation of a shooting in the Rose Park neighborhood of Long Beach where one man was left wounded.
Long Beach Police Department officers were called at approximately 10:53 p.m. Sunday to the 900 block of Ohio Avenue between Eighth and 10th streets regarding a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, the officers interviewed a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower body, police said.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the victim to a hospital in an unknown condition. According to police, the victim was uncooperative with the investigation.
The motive, circumstances of the shooting, and suspect information are under investigation.
