A fire broke out at an Indio residence Thursday that displaced two adults and two children, with no injuries reported.
The blaze was reported shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday in the 82000 block of Jamestown Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said crews at the scene encountered light smoke showing, and that it was contained within five minutes after arrival.
American Red Cross was requested to assist with the displaced people.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
