A man was fatally shot in Compton and detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Wednesday are continuing their investigation of the shooting.
The victim was discovered by investigators around 6:33 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Rosecrans Avenue and Willowbrook Avenue, said homicide Lt. Steven De Jong.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the LASD.
Detectives have not determined a motive for the shooting or disclosed a description of a possible suspect.
