Police Wednesday are investigating a shooting in the Shadow Hills neighborhood of Sun Valley that left a woman wounded.
Los Angeles Police Department officers from the department’s Foothill Station were called to the 9800 block of Lanark Street and Hollywood Way at around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday regarding a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, officers learned from the caller that their parents were engaged in an argument and the woman sustained multiple gunshot wounds, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
A man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody, police said. It was not immediately known if she was the victim’s husband.
The victim was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
