Los Angeles police Tuesday will hold a news conference to announce arrests in a pair of fatal hit-and-run incidents that took the lives of two people, including a 4-year-old child killed during a street race.
One case involved the death of Ma’Cya Clark during a street race on March 18. The other claimed the life of Emerson Gonzalez, who was killed on July 5.
“In a separate, unrelated investigation, detectives will also release new video of a suspect vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run that occurred on December 10, 2025, at Florence Avenue and Kansas Avenue…,” according to a police statement.
The news conference at the LAPD’s South Traffic Division was expected to be attended by LAPD Operations-South Bureau Commander, Elaine Morales, Operations-South Bureau, Central Traffic Division Captain Jerry Chaney, South Traffic Division Area Command Detective Ryan Moreno, South Traffic Division Officer Joseph Cha and family members of one of the victims.
