A Silver Alert is in effect Saturday in Los Angeles County for a 48-year-old man last seen in La Puente.
Joel Guillen was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. Thursday at Donaldale Street and Van Wig Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert Friday on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Guillen is Latino, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. Authorities believe Guillen is traveling on foot.
Anyone who has seen Guillen or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate searches for missing elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
