A person was pronounced dead at a hospital this evening, prompting Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives to conduct an investigation in the unincorporated Florence-Graham area.
Homicide detectives were sent near Firestone Boulevard and Holmes Avenue at about 6:50 p.m. Monday to assist deputies from the Century Sheriff’s Station, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where they later died. Details about what led up to the victim’s death were not immediately available.
Investigators have not provided a description of the suspect as they continue with an ongoing investigation.
