A 41-year-old man suspected of stealing items from a business in Jurupa Valley has been arrested, as authorities continued to investigate the case Tuesday.
Deputies responded to a report of a robbery shortly before 6:20 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of Hall Avenue, according to Sgt. Robert Martinez of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. They found that a robbery took place, no injuries were reported and a suspect had fled the area.
Authorities identified the suspect as Gilberto Alcaraz, 41, of Jurupa Valley. A served search warrant was executed Friday in the 5500 block of Fourth Street, where deputies found and took Alcaraz into custody.
He was booked into the Presley Detention Center in Riverside on suspicion of robbery and weapons violations. Bail information was not immediately available.
