A 33-year-old man was wounded in a shooting when he was confronted by two men in the Gramercy Park area of Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.
The man was walking at about 4:50 p.m. Sunday at 98th Street and Hobart Boulevard when a vehicle approached him and two men got out, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
One of the men got into a fight with the victim, struck him with a handgun and then shot him, the officer said.
The victim was taken to a hospital by paramedics for treatment of a graze wound, he said.
The suspects fled the scene, the officer said.
