A 35-year-old Riverside County jail inmate with a preexisting illness was taken to a hospital Friday where he died.
Maurice Landon Williamson of Las Vegas was being treated for his illness until his medical condition diminished, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. With consent from his family, he was placed on supportive care and later pronounced dead by the hospital’s attending physicians.
