A 19-year-old woman who was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the Pico Union neighborhood was identified Thursday by county authorities.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office said the victim was Khaliyah Page.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 12:46 a.m. Monday to the 1300 block of West Washington Boulevard and Magnolia Place regarding the crash. When they arrived at the scene, the officers learned the driver struck several vehicles before crashing into a light pole, LAPD Officer Rosario Cervantes told City News Service.

Page was in the back seat of the sedan and suffered severe injuries in the crash. Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department took Page to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Cervantes said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
