A car fire in Silver Lake threatened surrounding structures Saturday until it was put out by firefighters.
The fire was reported at 2:47 p.m. Saturday on West Riverside Drive, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
“Firefighters found no extension upon investigation,” Lantz said. “First-arriving companies will handle overhaul of the damage.”
No injuries were reported, she said.
