Two people were hurt Sunday when their vehicle went off of a roadway in Banning, plunging several hundred feet into a ravine.
The crash was reported at 2:38 p.m. Sunday in the 8500 block of Bluff Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters used a basket and rope-rescue system to get the patients out of the vehicle, fire officials said.
One patient was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance for treatment of minor to moderate injuries and the second was evaluated by paramedics at the scene and refused further care.
