A 26-year-old man who was killed in a traffic crash in Hawthorne was identified Friday.
The collision was reported at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday on southbound Crenshaw Boulevard at Rosecrans Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the victim Friday as Luis Gustavo, who sustained blunt traumatic injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
The CHP issued a SigAlert for both north- and southbound lanes at the Hawthorne Police Department’s request because of the heavy police presence.
