A pedestrian was killed in a collision on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu and the California Highway Patrol Monday is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
CHP officers were called at 4:36 a.m. Monday to PCH and Mulholland Highway, where the pedestrian was fatally struck, CHP Officer Michael Nasir told City News Service.
The victim, whose name, age and gender were not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
The CHP issued a Sig Alert for the closure of two northbound lanes and the southbound lane of PCH for one hour, Nasir said.
