An 18-year-old man who was killed in a multi-vehicle traffic collision in South Los Angeles was identified Wednesday by county authorities.
The County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner determined the victim was Juan Sanchez Salas.
Firefighters responded at 2:03 p.m. Tuesday to an area near Vermont and Colden avenues, where a victim was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to a hospital in an unknown condition, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The victim was identified as Juan Sanchez Salas.
The cause of the fatal collision was under investigation.
