Long Beach police Saturday are continuing their investigation of the stabbing of a man by a woman near the Rose Park neighborhood in Long Beach.
Officers from the Long Beach Police Department responded to the 3300 block of East Seventh Street and Coronado Avenue at approximately 8:19 p.m. Thursday regarding reports of a stabbing.
Arriving officers learned at the scene a woman approached the victim and stabbed him once in his upper body in what police say was an unprovoked attack, officers said.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel treated the man at the scene for a minor stab wound to his upper body.
Police found the suspect near the scene and arrested her. A knife was recovered nearby, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.

Hmmm, interesting. Headline says the suspect remains at-large, yet the last line of the article says that the police found her and arrested her.
I hope the latter is true. I live close to there.
