A fire scorched a 25-foot-by-25-foot patch of grass on a hillside in the El Sereno area of Los Angeles Wednesday, but no injuries or damaged structures were reported.
The fire broke out around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday in the area of 2635 N. Lombardy Blvd., near Eastern Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jamie Stewart.
The flames moved through an area already burned in a previous fire and were put out by 10:42 a.m., he said.
Sixteen firefighters responded to the scene, according to Stewart, who said the cause of the fire was not immediately apparent.
