Police officers responding to a shooting call in Koreatown Wednesday found evidence of a shooting, and saw the shooting on surveillance video, but have no victim.
Officers responded to a shooting call at 12:22 a.m. Wednesday at Seventh Street and Shatto Place, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman.
The officers found shell casings and blood at the scene, she said. They viewed the crime on surveillance video.
They saw a man in his 40s and another male get into an argument and watched the suspect reach for a gun and shoot the man in the leg before running away, the spokeswoman said.
That leaves the LAPD to wait for the victim to come forward or for a hospital to call.
