A fire that began outside a one-story 50-foot by 100-foot commercial building in Sun Valley before spreading indoors was extinguished in 30 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported Friday.
LAFD firefighters responded at 10:09 p.m. Thursday to 8323 N. Lankershim Blvd., near Roscoe Boulevard, where they found heavy smoke showing at the building, said LAFD spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.
It took 52 firefighters to knock down the blaze, Middleton said. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
