One person was injured Thursday in a fire that broke out in a two-story house in Koreatown.

The fire was reported about 9:15 a.m. Thursday at 817 S. Bronson Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, whose crews encountered flames in the rear of the single-family home.

One person was rescued and taken to a trauma center, according to LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.

The fire was out in 15 minutes, she said. It was not immediately clear where it ignited.

The Los Angeles departments of Water and Power and Buildings and Safety were summoned, along with Los Angeles police and LAFD arson investigators, Lantz said.
